Bush signs stimulus package

Bush just sighned a $168 million stimulus package.... This means that there will soon be rebate checks ranging from $300 to $1,200 to 130 million Americans. This is really good for both the economy and Bush's reputation. Most poeple do not like President Bush but because he is showing that he gives back to the American people, they will atart to like him more as he approaches his last few months in office.

Google Sued Over User-Generated Google Earth Content In Israel

Google has a very well known program called "Google Earth". This program is desighned for public use. It lets you see anywhere in the whole world!.... But sometimes to much freedom is wrong. For example... Israel is obviously a place on Earth that can be viewed through Google Earth. But because Israel is such a religious country they wanted their country to be removed from google earth. Google reefused and because they refused, the are now being sued by Israel.

Woman Sues Best Buy For $54 Million Over Lost Laptop

Best Buy is being Sued!!!!

This article cought my attention right away. A woman bought a new laptop from bestbuy and was going to pick it up one day. When she got to the counter she realized that the store had lost her laptop. She sued BestBuy for $54 Million!!!! Eveybody knew that $54 Mil. is way to much money. So the store decided to give the customer a 900$ gift card and a refund on the laptop. That is a pretty decent offer.


I was so suprised when I read this article. Granted, if a store lost my laptop, I would obviously be very upset. But I still wouldn't sue the store for $54 Million dollars!!!
